2005: Ubimed® was
founded in Los Angeles by Doctor Jose Bensoussan, a
French Medical Doctor, specializing in Ear, Nose and
Throat who invented and patented the first battery
operated nasal aspirator for babies, that uses
disposable nozzle pieces.
2007: Ubimed® launched in
the US and Europe the Cleanoz® Nasal Aspirator Kit™.
Cleanoz® is the only battery operated nasal aspirator
for babies that uses disposable reservoir nozzle pieces,
protecting the inside pump making Cleanoz® a sanitary
solution for cleaning babies noses.
2008: Ubimed® has received
the prestigious international ISO 13485 certification
for its quality system.
ISO 13485 is an internationally recognized quality
standard for the design, development, production, and
sales of medical devices. To be certified, organizations
must demonstrate an ability to provide medical devices
and related services that consistently meet customer and
regulatory requirements.
Ubimed® was certified after rigorous audits and
extensive document reviews to ensure that Ubimed®
quality management system (QMS) is run in accordance
with the globally recognized standard.
2009: Ubimed® introduced in
the US the Cleanoz® Saline solution for all ages,
Preservative Free, housed in convenient and hygienic
single use applicators, BPA free, 100%recyclable.
2010: After 4 years of
intensive research and development, Ubimed® is proud to
introduce the LifeNest™, the highly breathable sleeping
system for babies™. This patented Sleeping system was
specially designed by a Physician for the babies’
comfort.
While sleep is the most important aspect of a newborn’s
life, it is also the main cause of anxiety for parents.
